QL40 TELEVIEWER OPTIONS

Downhole televiewer tools provide continuous orientated images of the drill hole surface.

Two complementary technologies are available:

Optical televiewer (QL40 OBI 2G) delivers high resolution true color images as an unwrapped orientated image of the borehole wall.

Acoustic televiewer (QL40 ABI 2G) uses a focused ultrasonic beam to scan the drill hole surface providing borehole shape and the strength of the reflected sonic signal.
